CB Install on a 07'JK

There are some pics I took one night of my CB Install I did last a month a ago. Sorry it was dark when I had time to take pics.

Wilson 3' on my X.



The $7 Mirror Mount rigged on the Break light.


Notice I ran a grounding wire... it goes all the way into the rear
passenger fender well.. Scroll down for grounding wire mounted inside
fender hump.

Wires running through gate strap... well actually behind.


Drilled and Screwed Grounding strap.


Mounted Cobra DX IV


CB wired to Battery in JK... Blue wire is for factory fog from a Rubicon.. had to wire them up like after market bulbs.


Wiring Pass through on my Auto 2 dr X.

Hey Matthew, I`ll have to show you this gadget I have for my cb. I may be able to adjust my SWR with it. I think it`s basically a fine tuner.

i know the cb and anttenna but idont knwo what else

Other than an antenna bracket, that's about it. Well, depending on where you mount it, you may need a longer cable. Mine is an 18 footer and is just right for above my spare.

Make sure to also get ahold of a SWR meter. When tuned, you can make a super cheap CB radio work super well! You can buy them from Radio Shack or use a buddy's.
