This weekend Spring Creek

We have not had Shannon's rig out at the creek in months. She's had the BB installed since then. Our last time out she didn't feel well so she didn't take her rig. Now she's itchin to go try it out. We're both itching to get out there. The weather forecast looks perfect for this weekend. I'm just wondering how much the creek has changed due to the hurricane.

I saw some pictures (and a report) on the spring creek forum, but that was from the weekend of the hurricane- it was pretty well flooded out everywhere and a lot of trees blocking the trails. I'm just not sure if things will be cleared up enough by this weekend, especially the mud and downed trees

Well... for now we're planning on running out Saturday.

Anyone been out to the creek since the weekend of the hurricane... Paul??? Is it going to be worth the drive from Sugar Land?

I know, I know........as strange as it may seem....for some reason I don't have a beach house to go to this weekend.....but I can't make it Saturday.

If someone is going Sunday, I will be there at "The Creek".......

Spring Creek has changed a lot, but the fallen trees are being cleared and trails are passable. We went out last Saturday and cut trees of the main trails so it's getting better. I broke twice last week, a front axle in the carrier and a u-joint on the other side too. Fixed but found bad wheel bearing on driver side front and picked it up from stealership yesterday.

Oh yea, STILL NO POWER HERE...... ..........Day 12 for us so far. Generator gas getting a little expensive. Spent a little over 300 so far for gas. We thought electricity was high. At this rate it will cost about 800 to 900 a month for fuel for a generator, hopefully wont have to find that out though.

I can go Sunday, but will be in College Station Saturday.

I say we all skip work on Friday and go then.............or maybe Thursday....yes Thursday is sooner! Hell we can all go tomorrow..........I wanna go now!

Call us if you still plan on going Sunday, We will hopefuly be putting up a new fence on Saturday and a day of wheeling on Sunday would be great

I spent a lot of money (which could have gone towards Jeep parts) on season tickets to watch my boys get bitch slapped. Can't get the money back, so I might as well catch all the games and watch hot college girls hehehehe.

Well, G has his days all mixed up.....I do to........anyhow he thought today was Friday so he accepted a job for today....looks like I will be going to the creek with out him!

i didnt make it out there today. well technicaly i did, only to meetup with Steve and the gang for a much appreaciated replacement bumper. but since i didn't get to play i'm going to try again tomorrow. hope to see ya'll out there
