| Anyone carry a tire plug kit in their rig? I picked up a small kit at Home Depot for under $10 bucks. comes with tool, & rubber plugs. Cheap insurance. Sidewall is a whole other can-o-worms. (Cody) :nahnahna2:

| that sounds like a good idea for trail riding. never know if 2 tires are gonna get punctured. my 1st back is my spare. flats i get fixed for free (road hazard). but on the trail, good to have a backup to your spare. | |

| You will want the soft plug. The ones that are very sticky. You can also use them to plug a sidewall. During Rita I drove all over, cleared roads and pulled trees with a dunlop 35" that was pluged in the sidewall using 5 of those plugs. last weekend I went out and my buddy buddy was wheelingon that tire 2 years later. Get the heavy duty one at Autozone or one of the others. They look rust colored. I also carry a Stitch needle (heavy guage) and 40 pound test mono to help with gashes. If anyone is interested in building an AIR tank for cheap let me know. I have built 8 of them. I carry one in my trail rig and in my tow rig. | |

| I`m all ears about the tank. I got an old 2 gallon tank I was considering putting underneath my rig. I`d like to hear your take on it. I also carry a little comp, but you know how those work. | |

| This is the type of tank I was talking about. A CO2 tank. it will do about 35 35 inch tires. Not sure really but it will do alot. I use mine in the field to do tractor tires, seat beads on them, run air tools, just about anything. You want a write up on it? | |

| That would be awesome man! Can these be found cheaper than the ones in the catalogs? I can`t really afford $200-$400 know what I mean. | |

| That would be great. I could do that price range. I know those CO2 tanks work well. I would, and I`m sure others on here would run that set up for that price. | |

| I`ve heard a few people have used paintball type cannisters with mixed results. Whats your opinion? I`ve seen pics of a couple of those paintball tanks that have burst. Not sure if those would work or not cuz those can be picked up for $20-$50 bucks. | |

| They charge too mcuh for what you get. Not enough CO2 liquid. Not like a 10 pound tank has. | |

| Gotcha. I see some 15# tanks available as well. Quite a bit taller though. | |
