| so you got yourself a bushy? so whats the plan on the build up? just like a jeep, you cant leave it stock.... still trying to decide which hobby leaves the pocket emptier (is that even a real word?). so many options... tube foregrip or tactical rail? then theres, rifle length or carbine length? standard tactical rail, or milled lightweight? A4 muzzle break, or custom with twist on silencer option (surefire)? carbine site/gasblock or lowprofile gasblock with picatinny rail and flip up site post? damn, thats just the front of the rifle. you still got the trigger group, bolt, charging handle, bolt catch, mag release, buffer/spring sooooooo many choices. the grip alone is such a hard choice. so many on the market from cheap to waaaayyyy to much $$$$$. forget about the stock. then you have it set up just the way you want it.... then you wanna change up the whole setup. you'll end up buying two. one for quick, light, tactical apps. one for precision. does the spending ever end.... | |

| Yup, simply too many options! I wanted the integral iron sights for the simple reason that they will always be on and available- don't have to worry about knocking them like a scope can be knocked. I've always appreciated the spartan look of this model, but you know I'm gonna tweak it . For now I plan on carbine length rails, broom stick/w tac light, bayonet rail for my harris, gas piston retrofit kit, scope (not sure which yet) & carry handle rail mount, some magpul P mags, maybe a magpul grip with compartment, maybe a magpul PRS buttstock. I plan on leaving the barrel fairly stock and will swap out the upper/barrel for maybe a .450! That would be later though | |
