Ok , i need to know if we are still having the install party or not?:juggle: This is one of those weekends that i actually have off and am looking for any excuse to party. (Had to work overnight shift New Years Eve) I am still looking for my New Years Eve party. I know, we can still have the install party in which every Jeep that shows up can change out their summer air in their tires for the new winter air. This will provide better gas mileage and a smoother ride. :driving: Also, my oldest son wants to attend as he is really thinking about selling his 93 ford f150 and purchasing a jeep in which we can add a new member to Jeep Nation.

Happy New Year everyone! I really, really hate to do this...............but it looks like we may need to reschedule the install. My jeep is at Lonestar for a transfer case leak and a vibration in my drivetrain, 6 speed, 16,930. I have a vibration I can feel on the floorboard and up through my shifter, basically at all times. The guy who changed my oil (Thouseand Oaks automotive) indicated he has an 07 four door that was doing the same thing. Ended up being he needed a new (apparently updated) transmission mount. However, it took Ancira four attempts before they finally resolved the problem with the new mount. According to Lonestar, who indicated they did road test it, this is normal. So, obviously, my concern is if I do these mods and THERE is a problem that was not detected and fixed prior to mods, I'll be fighting the "voided warranty" monster. I am kinda at a loss here as what to do..................do any of you have a six speed? Maybe I could have one of you drive it and tell me what you think. It has been doing this since purchased, so it may very well be that what I am feeling is normal, I just don't know. I definitely want to take it to another dealership just to get additional documentation that this issue existed prior to mods.

Any of the other days listed in the poll would work for me. What about ya'll? Any input or advise you have would be great. There still might be a chance that I can get the jeep Friday evening, but I am worried about doing the mods before determining if this is in fact an issue or not.

So, just wanted to throw that out there and get your thoughts. Thank you everyone.

Stacy

Hi Jonathan, yes I will have them mounted and balanced, ready to go. Can't wait. THANK YOU! See you around 10:00 next Saturday.

Desert it is! Do you still need tortillas or chips? If anyone has any desert "faves" let me know.

Hey Dutchboy 101, not alot of places carry the royal purple. I know that NAPA tends to stock alot of it and the price isnt too bad. Ive used it in 2 of my other vehicles and will be using it soon for the differentials in the Jeep.

I have all the tools we need except for the spring compressors. Speaking of Compressors, mine is still out of order, but no biggie. if we can do an axle swap with hand tools, everything else is a piece of cake. It makes it more personal... I love you

My Solid Diff covers came in last night. I'll have to wrap them and put them under the Xmas tree before Rocio knows I have them.
Than I can just blame santa for giving them to me!!!

I might be able to swing by on the 3rd. Just won't have time to stay long.

Where is the best and cheapest place to buy Royal Purple oil?
