the combo top only works if you fold the back seat down..........and my cage would interfere

so i got something else in mind for that look anyhow

Yeah, I got mine. Took me, Geo and Jody forever to put it on. Granted the instructions say to not install it in temps under 72f and it was 50f when we installed it Damn thing wouldn't stretch worth a shit at that temp

Then I took it off for our New Years run - wanted the hardtop on for the long drive ya know... Haven't had it back on since. Weather has been too cool. And now that the weather is better, I have to go to Los Angeles next week, and don't want my Jeep sitting at the airport with the Trektop on. So it is going to have to wait some more.

Speaking of Lube Lockers- let me know what you find out. I'm still waiting for mine too.

steve you guys want a lift and p/u to and from the airport so you don't have to leave the jeep there? I would be more then happy to do that if ya want

That's so nice of you to offer. But I can't ask that of you. Our flight leaves at 11:45am Monday, which means leaving my house by 9-ish. Which means you would have to leave your house by 8. And that would suck for you. But I really appreciate the offer.

really I don't mind...I know I hate leaving my jeep in places like that for a long period of time. It's up to you...and by the way you didn't ask that of me I offered..lol

On the combo top - when do you have to lay down the back seat? It appears, in the photos, that when in trek or Bikini mode the seats can be up and that they are down only when the back cover and wind jammer are in..... am I correct on this one? I need my back seats for the Giblets.

I can live with it if the trek and bikini allow the back seats to be used.

that is correct.....so not really for me and i wasent sure if it would work with my cage.....getting a bestop tonnu cover for the back to run with in bikkini mode

I've been looking at the combo top for sooooo long :drool3:

but there are so many other things I want/need at the same time. I mean, for that price i could get a complete 3" or 3.25" lift kit.... or a new toy that goes BANG.... or a set of 35" tires (or sell both my other sets and add it together for 37s ) ... or new rear bumper.... or cargo rack.... or ..... or more likely on baby stuff since he'll be here in a few days :thewave:. hard decisions all

G is out side putting his top on now....I am sure we will have pics posted in a few hours

i am thinking of doing exactly the same thing. i had my hardtop on for about 2 weeks, then put on the soft top. i just don't think i need the hard top and i really like the ORH top.

i would also then be able to sell my soft top as well... it just doesn't get cold enough in s-tex to need the hardtop...

I sold my hardtop for $1300 and bought a new soft top still in the box for $275 plus shipping.

i am soooo close to pulling the trigger on selling my hardtop... i really need a winch and my front bumper should be here soon...

$1100 hardtop + 400 softtop = $1500 = ORH soft top and a good warn winch...

ok Jody today on my way to go pay my Jeep note (right after I got off the phone with you) I saw a yellow 2 door with a top like G's.........ok I think an off road hero's top would look awesome on your Jeep!!!!! I think you should get one and then when they come out with the combo back cover buy it.......

But I also think you should keep your hard top...or put it up for sale but don't let it go till you get $1000 for it!!!
