OK I need help, I think you guys know the bumper I want but now Bobby is saying I need a stubby bumper because of the other one is too heavy. Adam, you have a big bumper does it affect your climbing or gas mileage?

It doesn`t affect my climbing. I couldn`t say about gas mileage. I do have to say the bigger heavier bumpers add a lot of weight if you`re considering a lift. I went with the full front because I travel mostly hill country roads. I come home at dusk mostly, and need as much front end protection from deer.

if you go with a spring lift, you should be fine. i think there are other better bumpers, but the new style mopar bumper dont have Jeep cut into them and have fog light holes. that bumper you wanted is SWEET though. better clearence for sure. if i could do it over again......

If you want the best of both worlds I would say the shrockworks mid-width
