No you do not have to have a winch for this class but you do have to have a front and rear tow point. Which I think you have.

We will not be there...its my understanding that is the batcholette (lol) party and mine too (although I have no idea whats going to be going on, guys you're welcome to attend the party afterwards)

hey guys Tx4wd.org is doing a recovery and safety 101 class at BVORR on June 20th

here are the stats on it if you want to join us.



All drivers MUST be there between 9am and 9:15 am Class starts at 9:30am sharp!

Cost 20.00 per vehicle

All vehicles will need front and rear tow hooks. No winch required.

We will have a Recovery and safety meeting...covering proper tow points, proper recovery gear, as well as talk about winches and their proper usage etc...

Then we will be going out into the park where we will stage real life recovery, we will also be rolling some rolling vehicles off the ridge line where we will have to recovery them safely.

It's gonna be an awesome class with a lot to learn and lots of fun so pack your lunch and sunscreen and come out and have a good time with us!
