FYI: Memorial day weekend is full of fourwheeler and can get very wild I't like a crazy mardi Gras it's gonna be a big party

there are mud pits that nojk will ever get thru..........and lots of climbs and rock.......enough to stop your rig real good

Yea, we need to try and make different areas so the same guys are not always having the long drive. I think Shiolh is set for August?

Shiloh and Gilmer are both nice parks, and offer the same things!

Shiloh is privetly owned and offers nice weekend specials!
It has public restrooms not port o lets and has showers and nice camping spots!


Gilmer is about 75 miles North of Shiloh which makes for a drive but is a very nice park with lots to offer for everyone!

Gilmer is State funded everyone will have to buy an offRoad sticker at the gate (8 bucks good for 1 year) Gilmer has very nice camping area and would be a great place to go!

The only set back on Gilmer is the drive! The SA group will be on the road for an extra hour and a half to get there!

Both parks are nice and have a lot in common! Either park is ok by me!!!!

as for long's Let's go there next Year! The houston Gruop had a big turn out this time at long's but another 5 hour drive back to back we might loose a few followers.

I think we should do this every 3 or 4 months and each run lets go to a diff. part of the state! It will make travel eaiser for everyone!

I'm always up for long's again and the sooner the better

Joe just opened up the park for another open weekend May 9th-11th

It started out as a Tx4WD.org event, but Joe decided to make it open... I may go, not 100% sure yet.
