| I posted up a while back in the intro section, and after wheeling with you guys yesterday I wanted to get a build thread up. Im pretty much done so to say with all the major stuff so this is more or less a back fill of what it came from to where im at today... Enjoy! Started her life as a base X 6 Spd, no power windows, locks etc. First thing I did was pick up a set of Rubi wheels and tires from Johnny JK the next day. After a long while, I knew it was time finally for a lift So the UPS man brought me some presents. I went with a RE 3.5" Basic kit, adjustable track bar, Bilistien 5100 shocks, 35x12.5 KM2's and Crager Soft 8's | |

| And heres the final product as of recently.. With a little added humor And there you have it. Up next is gears and lockers. The CB is in the mail on its way already. Still havent decided on 4.56, 4.88 or 5.13's Not sure if I want to go the 37's route yet or not... Thats going to be th deciding factor if I run the 5.13's Great wheeling with you guys yesterday, and looking forward to it again. Now that I have a DD, ill be being a little more brave with some things | |

| turned out looking good. i was the other Det yellow jk there. I have 4.88s and they're ok. not as big a diff as i was hoping. but that due to the engine. mini-van motors don't have the torque to spin big meats on the highway. | |

| Are you running auto or stick? I've heard that 5.13's were good for auto and 35's while 4.88's help the six spd | |

| auto. when ppl say that, it's really only about wheeling. the lower 1st gear in manual tranny is great with 4.88s or 5.13 for wheeling. if you run 5.13s with an auto or stick it doesn't change the fact that the lack of torque will necessitate the need to downshift at hwy speeds when you come up an incline. don't know if a CAI + exhaust + tuner + sprintbooster will make a big enough diff.
those things are waaaaaaaaaay down on the list of mods i want. btw, hella nice avatar

those things are waaaaaaaaaay down on the list of mods i want. btw, hella nice avatar Id stay far away from a CAI... These motors have a tendency to hydrolock VERY easily. And the last thing that needs to happen is to give it an extra push to add water. Also, from a lot of reading, the computer is kind of a self adapting computer, and will eventually adjust to the mods you do with a tuner etc. I would think exhaust may be your best bet, but I think we all have to just face it, these motors just arent powerful. The only help to these is regearing, hemi, or supercharger. But if you do anything, do NOT do a CAI. And thanks, I think shes a pretty lil soldier

| I don't know. The bigclint once said that he put a cai on and felt it was a waste. His word is gold so I haVe to go with him. How can you doubt someone who wheels a sahara with a system blasting rihanna all day? | |
