| I thought that my front bumper was a little too wide, the frame rails made the bumper stick too far forward, and i didnt like the scrap metal that hung below the bumper area, so i did something about it. Cut some of the width from the bumper, cut out end caps, welded end caps, then smoothied out the welds a little to blend: Next i cut the "bash bar" (scrap metal) located under the bumper off. I then cut the bumper mounting plates off the frame rails and washed the welds off the plates. Then, i cut some lenght off of the frame rails and welded the mounting plates back on and remounted the bumper. It sucked the bumper into the grill nice and tight which improves the approach angle. I have no before pics, but heres the after profile. Note dog in background trying to wash the taste of turds out of its mouth. corey d | |

| Looks great. How much were you able to suck the bumper closer to the grill? That is still one of my favorite front bumpers. Glad I was able to buy the rear one, before they went out of business. | |

| I think i cut about 1 3/4" off of it. I may have been able to get another 3/16 out of it, but i didnt want to cut it too close. I can barely fit my fingers betweent the grill and the stinger braces. corey d | |
