New from Corpus

Hey guys I'm Daniel and I'm a newbie here in Corpus. I've wanted a jeep for so long and finally got a new 2011 wrangler unlimited. I wouldn't trade my Jeep for anything, it is everything I have ever wanted. Anyhow, I hope to share knowledge and learn everything I can about jeeps the accessories and the lifestyle. Jeep is stock but already am spending every sparing second looking up add ons I can get. Here is a picture of my jeep (JK Guardian) out at my lease. I know the name doesn't fit the jeep...YET

Just BE CAREFUL !! Mods are a very VERY slippery slope


I'm sure you've seen it before, but just look thru the modified section and you'll see this is true:

Just
Empty
Every
Pocket

First you charge up every credit card you have.
Next you start using up your savings.
Then you start liquidating IRA's, CD's, and other retirement investments.
Soon you start using up your kids' college funds.
Finally you look into a mortgage refinance to pull cash out for the Jeep.

...... and just when you think you're finished or have the Jeep right where you wanted it, you change your mind and start the build ALL OVER AGAIN


Sorry my friend, you didn't just buy the vehicle of your dreams... you just bought into a horrible curse

Welcome to the forum. Can you post up some pictures of the inside of the 2011 Jeep. I heard there are some changes.

Might want to start looking for kidney donors, that is the quickest way to build your Jeep the way you want it.

Welcome, from a fellow Corpus member. Yeah you'll spend just about every waking minute researching different mods you can do. Go ahead and just direct deposit your paycheck and anyother money you get to your jeep.

I already want to throw on a 6" long arm kit with fox coil overs, Hutchinson beadlocks with 42" mickey thompson baja claws and slam a 6.1 hemi with currie dana 60 axles with arb lockers with the metal braided air hoses. Bumpers from HD customs warn 12000lb winch. Delta lights, and KC's windshield mounted, I'm still not done yet... then we get in to the interior yet... I agree with what ya'll are saying all of my money has JEEP written all over it.

Dang you barely got your jeep not to long ago, calm down with the plans. jk

well... Those are my plans many many years to come I still have to keep everything agreeable with the man at the dealership. Warranty will void if anything is done... I'm thinking a mopar 2" with 35's for now just to keep the warranty satisfied. Christmas is just around the corner too I need to get my jeep in shape for spring break!
