Sounds like a pretty decent setup for "general" off road. But my thoughts turn to actual wheeling situations. Like mud and water situations. Everyone knows that mud/water and electronics don't mix well. So now you go and stick an electric motor at each wheel, something is bound to go wrong. Or you have more crap that can/will get bashed on some rock crawling and leave you sitting there with one wheel not able to turn at all. Stuff like that.
Plus look at all the people that complained about the problems associated with owning the first year models of the JK's... Just wait til the problems of the first year models of the EV pop up
In theory, I think it is a good idea. Actual use- it will take years of people tearing them up on the trails before Jeep will actually get it right. So figure sometime between 2015-2020 before you would be able to buy one that would be dependable on the trails.
