Come get the badge, and black helmet, and black body armor.... and dress in black BDUs - that should give you about 3/10ths of a second head start before they pounce on you..... I can throw in some real flash bangs, pepper mace and a tazer just for kicks..... you know that they make paint balls with pepper mace (called OC).... we have a paintball gun loaded with OC that has a orange dye that doesnt wash off just for "special" occasions - now that would give you a distinct advantage!!

Jenny- FYI Shannon won't be playing. She says she used to play years ago and has no desire to be hit by those paintballs ever again.

is this speed ball or woods play? if it's out in an open field, it's gonna be fast paced. don't try to hold the marker like a rifle with your elbow out. tuck your elbow against your side and and lay the tank on your bicep. it feels wierd at first.

what marker are the 'kids" using versus what you're gonna use? if they have their own gear, good chance they have electro-pneumatic markers that shoot like 18 bps (balls per second)..... good luck :seestars:

.... once upon 30 pounds ago and about 6 years ago, i played on a novice team sponsored by Black Market Extreme Sports & LoneStar paintball field (both now closed)

I'm pretty sure it is woods play. I'm too damn old and worn out to do any speed ball play. My son has his own equipment, and a couple of his friends do too. But mostly we'll all be renting the equipment.

Once upon 80 pounds & 20 years ago.....I played for the first time.......climbed up in a tree just like deer hunting and popped three guys in a row as they came by...until I missed the fourth guy......little wuss called for help and they shot me out of that tree like a camo'd squirrel....I had those marks on me for 2 weeks.... Very Happy

You, my friend, have the advantage of patience and wisdom on your side!!!! Remember the line about "walk down there and F them all"??? Good advice.... and if that doesnt work use the "spray and pray" method.

My oldest son has been bugging me to go play paintball with him (I think he just wants a legal opportunity to shoot at me!). So I've agreed to go play on Sunday Feb 8. Anyone want to join us?

He is looking at 2 places- one is in Katy, the other is in Richmond. He still hasn't decided which place to go. He's got a handful of his friends coming.
