got a little package from Tx DOT yesterday

Had a letter in it stating that a citizen had reported me throwing a cigarette butt out my window on Hwy 6!!! The package also contained a "Don't Mess With Texas" trash bag.

Wow! Someone actually went to the effort of reporting me for a cigarette butt?!?!

Guess with my license plate being so simple, it made it easy for them to remember it and report me.

Must be tough for them being perfect.

You didn't get a ticket did you?

No ticket. The letter simply stated that a citizen had reported it. And that had a cop witnessed it, it would be up to a $500 fine.


But hey- now I have this cool little Don't Mess With Texas trash bag to carry with me on the trails!

Hmmm, what IF several "citizens" reported the same to the state of Cali about a certain white 4dr Jeep....

I am sure it wasn't as much that you were littering but that you threw out a cigarette.

smokers in Texas do not cause brush fires, Texas only sells fire safety cig which go out while you are smoking them, they will not catch anything on fire Nothing I have tried...lol


but really I know we should not toss those thing out, but it's Jeeps fault they don't have ash trays in them...lol
