| Hey I'm a few months away from paying off my Rims and tires, so I've been thinking of getting some Rock rails. I know there are quite a few manufactures making them for the JK, the only problem is they often only have pictures of the rails on TJs. I'm not into ordering a set of Rails with out seeing them on the Jk.
On this tread post photos of JK Rails!

| I have the shrockworks, www.shrockworks.com and have nothing but great things to say about them. At longs I practically landed on them with the full weight of the Jeep, and all it did was scratch them. I have also used them to pivot off of before at BVORR. They are expensive, but you do get what you pay for.... Top notch quality.

| No problem I just get frustrated with not actually seeing rails on the JK. Vendors just posting a pick of the Rails on a TJ and saying it fits the JK. The JK is so different, I need to see it on the JK! | |

| Yup. What I have yet to see is a manufacturer that makes a rockrail that actually follows the JK bodyline. The body is not straight like the older Jeeps, it has a slight bend to it that I feel needs to be addressed with the aftermarket rails. | |

You mean all rails, TJ, JK etc... I think the whole idea of the thread was to see what rails look like on the JK, because many suppliers are selling JK rails by only providing a picture of the rails on a TJ. I wanted this tread to be one for JK rails on JK becuase the JK bodyline is so different it is good to actually see what it is going to look like on the JK.

| Well just do JK rails then. If someone wants to do TJ etc then they can. I know I would HATE trying to do all the ones for TJs | |

Yeah Tj ones are welcome, it is just there is a ton and the catalogs are full of TJ rail pictures however seem to be lacking JKs. I'm not wanting to send $200-600 to a suppler to order rails that they pictured on a TJ and said they work for a JK :conspiracy: I remember on the site that most of use once belonged to..... a guy ordered some schmitty built rails and they were only like a 2 feet long and didn't fit the JK body line at all... even though the supplier said they fit perfectlly on the JK, really they were just modifed TJ rails.

Ah, good question 1) sidestep built right in (for us short people with lifts LOL), without losing and ground clearance that most sidesteps cause- us 4dr owners already have a worse break-over angle. So certainly don't want to make it any worse by putting on sidesteps that hang lower. 2) built right on to stock Rubi rails- so same rocker protection, but with the added benefit of being out away from the body to keep those mean ol rocks at bay 3) built like a tank! These things can support the entire weight of the JK without damage 4) most important- built by Redneckhouston (soon to be AKA: ROCK RASH 4x4 Inc)
