| OK...payment all squared away...expected to ship out at the end of next week...and installed on my Jeep by Nov 28th of this year or sooner. Yep, thats the plan...lets hope it goes that easy. So, what is it....their front fender replacements: Note: image stolen from Rooster via http://www.jkowners.com/forum/showthread.php?t=17444I'm getting the front only. The basic rear was quoted to me for $965! One could get ORO armor (front and rear) for $165 cheaper! I couldn't justifiy the price, if I'm just gonna cut it up later for the rear comp cut ...and for those interested, I've been in contact w/Mark Nobles (sp) of Overkill and he has been very informative and helpful. so far...a big thumbs up for their customer service. I will report back, when they get shipped and so forth EDIT: the above above appeared to be all true UNTIL CC INFO WAS OBTAINED....stay tuned

| CANCELLED ORDER...TOTAL REFUND EXPECTED... 2:31 PM I missed a call from Mr. Nobles. 2:37 PM I called Mr. Nobles back. The price difference was said to be in the shipping. He quoted me from Business to Business, as thats who he usually works with. He stated that it was flagged by the "girls down stairs" and he got the information last night as a hold was put on the order. FYI, the diffence was only about $30 or so...it was the principle of the thing for me...had it been quoted what I was charged, I still would've ordered from them. OK...a minor shipping charge change...my account was billed anyways and then they put a "hold" on my order??? I inquired again about when it would be shipped out and was told that it usually takes 2 weeks. I was then asked what I wanted to do. I elected to cancel and obtain my full refund (as the whole process and my research after the fact has left a bad taste in my mouth). I did sent Mr. Nobles and company a brief email afterwards, confirming our conversation and the refund. I also told him that if the item becomes readily available, I might still be interested IF it were shipped COD. So thats it...hopefully nothing more will come of it and my credit will show back up today or tomorrow. | |

| So was there anything wrong with the company or parts? Would you have gotten it if they had better customer service? I wonder if I call to order it if I can get a discount cause they want to get rid of it now?! | |

| Personally, I would be calling Kenny at River Raider and getting front narrow tube fenders and comp cut (since you plan on doing that) corners for just a little bit more.
Just saying....
And you WON'T get screwed! | |

| Well guess what? Wait, the reason for the 2nd chance was due to Mark H stating that he would throw in a free pair of rear skinz...So, I've stuck around... ...and got pissed...stuck around...got the run around...and got pissed....stuck around some more...got pissed...Brandi gett'n upset too...got the run around...well ya see a pattern, huh (I have approx 50 emails going back and forth with company!) So today, I had enough and gave them a choice of shipping my order or I expect a refund in my account by the end of the day tomorrow... Well 3 hours later...I get email saying order is shipped and I got a tracking # too (to soon get the # pulled up on the freight company website) But it appears I will finally start to be able to do some more mods to the Jeep...or I might end up just selling the fenders...lol George, ya got a package coming sometime soon! | |
