Sleeting in Sugar Land big time (7:10am)

Gonna make for a messy rush hour. Glad I only have 6 miles to drive to the office.

Good luck with that. Hope people out there don't drive like they do here or it will take you a good 2 hours to drive that 6 miles lol

at 7:45 it started snowing- and I'm not talking tiny little snow. These are huge flakes with a lot coming down! Had to run the kids to school at 8- Heather was freaking out, she is loving it. The drive to work was no problem as the roads are not cold enough for anything to freeze yet. So it was no different than driving in rain.

Forecast says this snow is going to move out sometime this morning. And then pick up again later this afternoon. Heather's belt ceremony is tonight, with Chuck Norris presenting the belts. I'm praying they don't have to cancel that due to weather, because I'm sure they would not be capable of re-scheduling him.

ahhh....I LOVE IT!!!!! Reminds me of back home in NY. Snow is one of the things I miss the most! Back then, I had an '87 Blazer and my favorite thing was going out at like 2am when the Nore'Easter blizzards were the worst and the roads were pure white...throw it into 4WD and just go putz around when everyone else was hiding out! Such fun!...so, some snow is better than no snow.
