rugged ridge products

are they any good i have a 6 cyl 4.0 wrangler i need a header manifold

I have run this header for some time now. It has a lot of hard wheeling trips and a couple of cross country drives on it with no issues yet. Fit was great and it bolted up with no problems.

I went with the rugged ridge header for 2 reasons. 1st was the price! 2nd was upon visual inpsection i noticed that each single exhaust tube is completely welded on the back side ( which is the visible side in the pic below) to the flange. Unlike some of the more expensive brands out there who just tack weld the back side. The welds in general look to be a bit wider .

The reason I replaced the header was for a leak in this very location at the flange where some lack good welds. Hope this helps
