By the way....this venue is not flip-flop friendly, dirt annd grass. We are outstanding in our field.....literaly.

Thanks for the tacos, cabrito and chicken, it was the best.

Sorry I could not stay around for the ribs and brisket, I'm sure I would have kissed the cooks if I did.

Nah....Kenny just passes out from the beer.

We got the "final table" on brisket... nothing else... "final table means we made it through preliminary, and semi-finals and got culled. They announced the top 10 so we were like 12th,or13th out of 43 teams. I was pleased with all of our entrys. Just because some judges dig mc donalds and don't know what good food is not my problem.....(that was an easy excuse..hehe)

We cooked good food, fed lots-o-folks, drank rum, looked at Jeeps and tractors, and Kenny didn't win crap so it was a success in my pirate opinion!! (Kenny is a buddy that cooks and rubs it in when he beats me, so turn about is fair play)

Thanks to all for he support!! The fellas from the Wilson Cty. Showbarn Board also said thanks and invited all of us back next year.
