| rule number one, is only one person calls the spot. You better trust that they are just as serious about not breaking your heep as you are. rule number two, listen to that person only. rule number three, if you don't want to break, don't follow Jeff, Johnny, George, Me, etc..... rule number four, be patient with the skinny pedal. in most cases, finesse trumps power. look at the trail and see where people are going up/down. take a line most suitable for your rig and your skill. just my two cents | |

| for sure man spotting is all about the lines. Make sure that if your spotting someone else you dont have anybody who is contridicting you. If the driver does something dumb against your advice then thats their fault. As said above; as the spotter you have to be just as serious about not braking their stuff as you would be about breaking your own. Other than that spotting is about a good understanding between the driver and yourself. know the course, know the angles, know the drivers, and above all use common sense. Spotting is alot of fun man, and You'll get a kick out of it in the end of the day Tyler | |

4 people in the jeep and no spotters outside the jeep? But if they couldn't see a tree I guess it was better for them to stay inside the jeep anyway.

true that. actually my friend did very well spotting. we'd get out and survey then i'd tell him what lines i'd want the tires in and he did a good job of directing me. it was funny when we'd be off camber and you could look over at him all puckered up then we'd get back to level he'd let out a sigh bigger than mine. lol. all this from a person who races motror cycles! no way i'd be on 2 wheels doing th espeeds he does at the track and we were just creeping.

Give me a 4-wheeler and I'm fine... Crawling, racing, etc., but we get in that Jeep and I do everything I can not to panic... lol
