PINS run convoy?

I believe we are hanging out by port a, to be closer to foods/bathrooms.

if you're on an iPod there's a stack of us that will be running tripcast so you can find us easily.

I am going to try and come out after work saturday {3pm} to check out everyones rides and say hello. But cant stay as I have a birthday party to go to at 4:30.

Will everyone be on Port A beach {Mustang} at that time?

I will be best to check us on Tripcast to find exactly where we are, or alternatively, call Renee at the above number.

Lets hope we get signal at Port A. I am taking my CB just in case.

We will be running channel 4.

I plan to leave Houston 10a - noon on Friday. That will give me plenty of time to find the camp and set up my tent before the motel group leaves for the night. I don't have an iPod or that app so I will call Renee when I get close and be on Chan 4 on the CB.

I think this was asked and answered but will we have a bbq pit at the campsite? Anything special we need other than food? charcoal? plates? I plan to hit the store tomorrow so I figured I would ask.

We are a no-go...... planned on leaving Thursday after work... the heap is in the shop and as of today at noon they had not got to it. They had a song and dance about their tech being sick... whatever.

HAH. That pit is slightly overkill. Last time someone, Bobby I think, had a small bbq pit that was perfect. I have sandwich meat ready to go but will get something to burn if there is a pit. I took a lot of mesquite wood for the matagorda beach run but I don't have any this time.

I asked this on the other thread, but got no response. Is there a schedule? The bbq sounds great, is that just the people camping? Do I need to plan on something? Is everyone attending the bbq? Is anyone going to the country music thingy?

I just want to be ready/planned for the trip.

We are not going to take the pit this time, trying to keep it simple, get sandwiches or burgers for lunch and go to dinner in the evening. The schedule is very flexible, hang out, fish, cruise, pool party at the hotel Saturday night.

I believe its at I-37 and 1604

i37 and 1604 - 0730 departure

The Jeep is still in the shop, they said that they had to order a new PCM today and it should be here tomorrow. They still have more chit to do on it so I bet I get it back next freakin' week.

Does anyone have any extra of those little things to turn off your int. lights when you take your doors off?

Do I have to put in where I'm going? Do I have to leave it on all the time for people to see where I am?

I'm pretty sure you have to leave it running for it to be "real time". I'm sure you can turn it on from time to time in order to update your location/status. For our purposes tomorrow we should probably leave it running...
