Yeah, I probably should have. My bad. I try harder next time. Maybe I'll have qd's by then and can do a really good job.

Now you will have to disconnect ever. $200 used on JeepForum: http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f127/currie-anti-rock-off-road-sway-bar-system-front-1129133/
If a frenchy likes 'em, they're bound to be good. Meh! That's too fancy for my likin'. KISS principle. I like the JKS units because the whole thing is pretty much removable, leaving only the sway bar to secure for wheelin'. Perfect.

| OK, folks. I really do appreciate all the comments and suggestions for the disco's, but that's not what I envisioned for this thread. I want to hear/see how Jeeps changed your perspective on things. I started with my Grady's parking lot experience, and posted some pics to illustrate. Here is another I think about every morning on the way in to work. There is a hill just before my exit to work. I have to drive about a half-mile further to the exit. If I could exit at the hill, it would make my drive just a bit shorter, but a lot more enjoyable. So, I was thinking there should be a "Only in a Jeep" exit just for us Jeepers. I made a concept and posted it below. Now I know I'm gonna take flack for the concept. The wheels are big enough, where's the sport bar, there are no seats or steering wheel. I can hear it going on and on. That is not the point, so don't do it. Those are mine. Now let's here yours! Hell, if we can get 40+ pages on the freakin "The Forum Ban Game" thread, we can do something on this. Yah, yah, I know, banned for starting this stupid thread. C'mon it'll be fun. | |

| There's a little wash a ways along the back fence line on the ranch. Years ago, I had a blind back in there but it had not washed out near that bad and there was a flattened out place you could cross in a conventional vehicle.
The other day with the family loaded up, I went down there to take a look. I got across easy enough at the safest point but the trees fence you in and I had to turn around.
At this point, I could go down to the 'safe' crossing or...."hang on"
it was a good little climb but the Wench ate it up like it was a speed bump. It was a little disappointing, tbh, not really challenging at all.
I guess the point is that some things change in an instant and some things take a good, long while to sink in. I can conquer alot of territory but my skills and confidence has a long way to go. Part of the reason I bought an older YJ so I could beat the hell out of it and not fret about tearing it up. Well, that and I'm poor.

Get used to this part, once you start owning a Jeep. I've been broke since 2007. the list of stuff I want to fix/change is so long that I don't know where to begin. I don't have the time to do much of it anyway right now. It runs, it crawls, good enough for now. My wife and her dad went to a junk yard and found a rear seat frame on a burned up YJ and she rebuilt it and apolstered it so now we have that. A few other things I need to take care of but yeah....the wish list is growing....I try not to look at too much stuff so I don't get the "oooh, I want THAT" feeling.

| Wow, thanks Hood for resurrecting this thread. I'd forgotten about it. Being ridiculed for not disco-ing before I parked really got to me. To resolve that inner conflict, I took it upon myself to purchase some JKS Quicker Disconnects. I'm planning on installing them Friday night or Saturday morning. That will be one more item on the list checked off. I'll also mean no more legitimate disco ridicule from these big meanies in here.
I'm sure I'll provide much more fodder for them to use in the future. It's all good though. I can hack it!
