| Yes, it wheeled right up that ledge. That ledge is called "The Lathe" it is mean. It will peel metal off. The 4 link is great. I love it. I ramp 1441 on a 20* ramp front and back. Your 33's would do nice at Trees. You are just seeing the extreme stuff but with 6500 acres there is plenty for everyone. I take alot of stock Jeeps out that way to teach them how to do it. Last time I had an XJ on 31's. He had a blast. | |

| BTW- The Punisher theme, and that is her name, came about a funny way. See she only has 21,000 miles on her. I was taking a plasma to it and cutting the fenders out and doing all this work to it. I was in the shop and kept saying "Yeah, I punished her." It got shorten to "Punisher" | |

| I will post some build up pics if you like. From the build thread on TexasJeepOwners.com Okay here are the first of the pics. As most know I am swapping in a Dana 60front and 14 bolt rear into the Unlimited. They came out of a 1 ton CUCV military diesel truck. The tubes needed to be swapped. The Differential is a passenger side drop and we needed a Driverside to match the drive train in the Jeep. My options were to find a Ford axle only made for 3 years or find a Chevy and swap the tubes. I owe Don a huge Thanks for this one. We measured over and marked. Don cut them. I just sat and basically urinating in my pants at this point We beveled the edges and we were left with this We measured, leveled, set the castor degree, measured again, checked again, then committed to it and tacked it in | |

| We finished the upper links for the rear, got the front completely welded up, frame cut in the rear for the coilover towers, coilover towers welded onto the front, and a few other things. Got started around 8:30 this morning and finished up right at 9 PM. I didn't take alot of pictures (Dan has some on his camera, too. I was busy working the grinder and running for lunch/parts/bolts.) Here's a few pics (and yes, some of them are a little blurry. My camera battery was dying, so I was hurrying): Heim: Uppers bolted in (Wrong size misalignment spacers, new ones on order): Frame end of uppers: Head on shot of the rear w/ truss: Welds on the front coilover tower: Cutting the rear frame for the coilover tower: Plasma notching the tower: Tower in place and welded: Front control arms bolted in: Finishing the welding on the front: My contribution. With a little practice, I angle-cut and notched some DOM for an extra brace on the front truss: We're getting reeeeeeal close... | |

| Well I got alot done tonight. I started my steering. I plan to run a Hydro assist set up. For those who do not know what that is, I will use a bigger pump to push more power steering fluid, the steering box will be Tapped out and hoses run from it to a Hydraulic Ram. The ram will assist the steering. It will make it alot easier to turn. Here is a pic of the Steering box tapped for the Hydraulic hose. Here is new Power steering bracket. This will hold the new Chevy LT1 style pump.(I love Plasma cutters) Here is the Pump and the new bracket installed. | |
