Also, I got my gears and lockers finished up today. I am now rolling on 32's with 4.88's, aussie locker in front, and detroit in rear. Let me tell you, that is a lot of gear for 32's, and the detroit is a bitch to get used to but I wouldn't have it any other way. These mods plus the removal of the front and now rear sway bar have made this jeep an ideal daily driver. Bring it on Barnwell.

I know of three from around here (Houston) that are going with JKs - a handful of Zuki guys are going from here as well. About 8 or so JK/TJs from Dallas are supposed to go as well.

olled in to the 5(ish) star Gilmer Inn - they didn't get too much rain and don't expect much tomorrow either. Should be a great weekend of wheelin!

Going to do some recon tomorrow and play around a little a few from North Texas should be here tomorrow around lunch time. The Zuki guys will be here about the same time.

Kick ass little steak house just opened on the road to Gilmer just outside of Gladewater - stop in and try it if you are rolling through and hungry.

I will be on CB channel 6 if someone rolls in tomorrow or Sat.

Where were you today man? I looked for you out there.

We were on.... Fun Country, Scorpion (both), Whatever, X-Way, Humdinger, Sky View, Venom Loop, Jeep Eater, Shake Rattle & Roll, Old Town Trio, Sidewinder and Twister several times. Plus a few that I wasn't paying attention to. We didn't take too many photos - we were just gettin' after it all day, one after another.

Ron thanks for setting this up. I had a great time as well and enjoyed talking with you. Seeing your rig make easy work of the places I had problems with means my jeep wants to be like yours when he grows up.

The bad thing is I never broke the kungfu grip on my steering wheel to take any pictures. I brought a new little flip camcorder to play with but never had a chance to use it. Hopefully someone has some pics to share.

The good news is I didn't break anything. I did lose a little tire pressure gauge that I must have left there cause I can't find it. It was so cold airing backup at 9pm Saturday that my fingers were numb.


Ben... I think we saw your 2dr yellow jeep drive by around 5ish on the main drag right around the RV campsite where Ron parked his trailer

I did run into a bunch of other people that were presumed dead. Geo/Jenny/Timmay/Phil/Crystal. Had a great time with you guys as well. Can't wait until next time.

We ran over to twister and snapped those pics after checking on that guy's ankle (it wasn't broken, just sprained real bad) - other than that we just got after it for two days. We ran a shitload of trails!

You probably did, we were trying to find Jeepy Hollow but never did. That is one bad thing about that place, it is so large that if you get split from your group your SOL. Look at it this way, we split up and conquered more terrain for the glory of Jeep.
