Coast this weekend

Well we are going to make a break for the coast this weekend. We will tow the Wrangler down and have some fun and hang out on our boat. We'll take the boat out too if the wind cooperates. We have had enough of attorneys, bankers, a-holes, people trying to get something out of my father in laws estate, etc. If I have to talk to one more person in relation to this while we are grieving, my head will explode! So, send a PM if you want my cell for texts while we are there. Kenny, would love to wheel with you again! We just need a break from 1400 mile drives and dealing with this stuff.

I will be going down to PINS this Saturday with Michelle and our 4 dogs. Wont go all the way down but far enough that we will be away from the crowd.

Michelle and I had a great time this weekend at PINS with Rich, his family and Gilbert. We didn’t go as far down as we wanted because we took too long helping the Tahoe and the Dodge 3500 that were stuck. The 3500 broke the front drive shaft joint helping the park ranger out (don’t know how). The Tahoe got stuck helping the 3500 out. Gilly_As pulled the Tahoe out and then both of us pulled the 3500. Great times!

PINS - April 2011

While we were there we talked about making a trip all the way down PINS and camp there for a night (or two) for the 4 of July weekend. I think it should be fun. I will create another post to see how many of you are interested and available for the trip.

That's totally awesome, guys. Way to represent!

They did great! My linkage to the transfer case is keeping me from getting into 4 lo so I wasn't much for pulling on this trip. I tried to order the cable conversion for it and they are back ordered until next month!
We are also looking forward to a group run all the way down PINS for a good ole Jeep hoedown on the 2nd and 3rd of July if we can work it out as a group. I offer to have my wife drive our TJ and I will drive our F350 down with a smoker and extra fuel and water. We will offer space as it is available to haul others gear down as well.

sure looked like fun wish my lab didn't get jeep sick she would love the beach, hope we get to go 4th of july thats when sbfirekid and my daughter's birthdays are.

Our lab get's car sick too! I wonder if it's a trait of the breed? Our Goldens do great traveling. If the trip works out we will bring the lab (on Dramamine) and the female golden. Can't bring the male golden, he is 80 lbs of exuberance! He would knock down every tent and cover there.

Sounds like a plan. Was planing a trip the week before the fourth, but ill post pone it one week for a group ride on PINS.
