Boulder ... need better armor

so everyone always says the mopar steps aren't sliders. yeah, i know. but they held up great at Long's, so i thought, what the hell, right? at first glance, you dont even notice, then look a little closer....

then get under there and notice the mounts arent exactly straight


yeah, its tweaked/twisted a little

i was laughing at adam's tail pipe, then noticed mine when i got home

oh, at the stock gas tank skid is weak, real weak or maybe i shouldnt pivot off it ?


the pics of the gas tank skid don't do justice to the damage.
so looks like rock rails & gas tank skid is next on the list of upgrades

Oh my!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry to see all that damage. Maybe I should crawl under my jeep and look a little closer, I might not have faired as well as I thought.

all in all, not bad. could've been much worse. its a good excuse to upgrade :mischieviousbi

Ouch... that pinch seam looks like it took a beating.

If i didn't know any better, I would say those underside pics were of my jeep. Looks like some serious wheeling there.
