Read the directions carefully before you get started as you will have to use a "tap" to make the upper holes on the frame threaded for the bolts on the top of the bumper.

1. Remove the stock bumper and plastic tray under the grill.

2. Use a sledge hammer/BFH to flatten the upper bumper mounting brack down to the frame:

3. Use the tap to thread the hole for the upper mounting bolt on the bumper. You will also have to drop the swaybar in order initially line up the winch tray (not to worry as there is a hole in the winch tray and will go back together. You will also need to cut the ends of the crossmember at a 45 degree angle for final assembly...see instructions):

4. Line everything up with the winch tray and winch tray/frame mounting brackets that fit in the inside of the winch tray and wrap over the top of the frame:

5. The top hole on the frame will be enlargened using the "tap" bit which will thread the hole for use with the upper bumper mounting bolt.

6. Line everything back up and use the interior mounting plates with the winch tray to attach the winch tray to the frame. You will notice with the winch tray that there is a hole for the rubber pad to the electronic swaybar. (not for 2012s, there is an additional step to relocate the 'can' into the side of the winch tray. there is enough room for it.)

7. You will need to angle cut the crossmember to install the bumper in the next step:

8. once you have everything lined up, use the threaded "nut bars" on the inside of the front frame cross member and inside the frame to thread all bumper mounting bolts and attach the winch tray/bumper together onto the frame. There is 14 mounting bolts all together:

9. Recommend installing your winch prior to mounting the bumper. If not, the only step is to remove the bumper (with winch stray still attached), install the winch and then re-install the bumper.
