| well its easy to see that everybody has a comment about it as for you .you didnt say it either and it was on sat not sun .so like i sayed i am cool just wanted to say what was on my mind i just think its funny that people go out and buy a bad ass ride and spend all that money and then they are going to bitch because a low budget cj got them all up in a bind ..........so to speak........... and if the shoe fits for not being able to drive you ride where a damn cj went like i say.go get a damn skatboard and dont bitch because trail get alittle stupid and rough.......if you cat take the rough stuff sit back and watch and whats the deal with all the damn spotters what happend to ......its a jeep its will go where others wont .the whole point i am trying to make and the reason i didnt say anything the other day is i was mad and i didnt know how to say it to where i didnt hurt everybody feeelings.i think its pretty damn funny that i have only had my jeep under a year and its a older jep this is true but if you are goin gto go trail riding you need to be prepaired to have trail damage and you shouldnt be balming the guy that was in front and another thing i would like to say is that if you have someone spot for you listen to that person and not all 6 people thats around and when you come up to something whats the deal with all the damn stopping to look at what is the best way to go up it damn just drive up and see what happens and all that shit we were on was nothing at all baby shit .i dont have no 4 link and i dont have a 10.000 $lift i have 2-1/2 '' lift springs UNDER and 32'' tall tires not 35 with all these bad ass and home brewed lifts ........shit it might be that i am abit jelouse....at least i can admit that and not have to down someone because your not the leader and all ....hell now i am sitting hear thinking that this shit is funny .....lololol got to love tha city boy jeep club........if your scared to scratch it ......keep it on the street | |

| I think somebody with the "low budget CJ" might be a little jealous of those with a nicer ride........ just stirring the pot...... Muddhunter, I hope you realize you come across as a whining child with your rant. If you have a specific issue with someone, why don't you come right out and say it. | |

| well first off i am not crying about anything i am just sitting back looking at what was said on the trail and if the point is starting to come across to anybody as me calling anyone out .well i guess i am calling the cry baby's that was bitching about fallowing me with all them bad ass high dollar lift and rides .........hey what the hell is wrong with me watching what happens and talking about ,,,and when the guilty party reads this they will know who they are i bet the next time the try to falllow me they will still not be in thier own jeep .whats up with that .having a jeep and talking shit to me about where i am taking them on a baby trail..and they dont even have their jeep on the trail...so if you want to talk shit to me about where i am going .you better have your damn JK on the trail before you pipe up and start telling me where to drive..... oh and i got one more for you are you ready /........86 cj.on 2-1/2 in pro junk lift springs ....under with 32 10.50 x 15 superswampers running on flats with a smoking ass 258 straight 6 army green paint with some home brew grapics .done by borther inc with a bad ass roll cage pimping a dome light and a 45 watt cb witha big stick ant.......................get you some mudd ducks | |

| OK...last I'm going to say on this topic...
1st off, I got no probs with you Shannon (only met ya a couple of times) and would wheel with you again. I just think that truthfully, you're post just seemed to bring about a bad vibe...and I don't think thats what any of us want.
2nd (and I can only speak for myself)...that trail was nothing, yes tight at times..but thats not the 1st nor the last. This was only what my 4th time out...so yes I do get a little hesitant...but I'm learning more and more and doing more and more. Sunday, we went out...shared the duty of trail leader and we were all going down ATV trails. Only say that cuz I've got plently of pin stripes, but they doesn't bother me. I'm cool with damage on my ride while wheeling (well I can at least say that for now...lol), but its a different story if that damage occurs while out on the street and caused by another.
As far as spotters, well most of us (meaning the group that was at Shiloh) are still new with the Jeeps AND ALL OF US THEM AS DAILY DRIVERS! So that also goes along with the comment...just drive up and see what happens...little easier for you to say with you rig siting on a trailer. Plus that just seems like a recipe for distaster (esp if 1 is not good at picking the correct lines).
Personaly, I'd like to see all here just :grouphug3: ...then have this topic closed and move on...but we'll see.

| i have to agree with txrubi, using my daily driver on the trail tends to keep me a little reserved on the trail. especially since i'm learning the current limits of my vehicle. i gotta drive it back home and to work monday morning. not to mention, money going to repairs takes away from $$ for mods/upgrades. as i upgrade my jeep, and gain more experience, i try rougher /harder obstacles. i smashed my side steps, oops, and my gas tank skid plate, whoops. forcing me to replace those (with better armor) and puts my axle upgrades on hold for a few months to come. btw i was in boulder so not making excuses for anyone. | |

| it's not about being worried about my rig .... haven't you seen my rig ...it's covered in scratches and all dinged up.....but I still want a good story to go with my carnage........I know I didn't bitch about it but I'll bitch now..........G is down to the metal above the rear drivers tire and the roll bar padding is gawn.......thats more $$$$$$$ we have to spend on crap.......I'd rather him kill his gears then loose body panels........not trying to call you out Mud just expalain how everyone felt.......you know I don't need to worry about my CJ when she's up and runnin but I still don't wanna kill her and have to spend my $$$$$$ on stupid stuff instead of cool stuff. But on another note I'm glad you took us down that trail if you hadn't I wouldn't have seen the baby fawn. | |
