Well if papa bought my jeep, I might not care either. He outta leave your ass stranded sometime and let you figure it out. Bet you`d care how you treated the Jeep after that.:dunce:

| Adam, did you not read what I typed? I don't care how wrecked it gets as long as I get home. So how would I get stranded if I don't break anything that will effect that | |

| Breaking something just for the sake of breaking it is not very smart...then again as Ron White would say, "you can't cure stupid." | |

| Did I say it???? I have no idea if I said it, But I know I was thinking it- especially when George fucked his shit up in that area that was way too tight for his rig. I still feel his pain. So it very well could have been me that said it.
You know Shannon, I have nothing against you. But... You know there was that area where we had people spotting (obviously you remember that area). After I got down it, I stopped near you just in time to hear you say to someone "I have the oldest rig out here and I'm not afraid". When I heard you say that, I replied to you "Yeah, but these are all daily drivers". Your response was "this used to be a daily driver". I was standing there thinking "WTF??? "used to be" a daily driver? And that's some sort of equal comparison?"
(The funniest part was when that guy really BUILT rig pulled up just then and replied "I have the best built rig here and I went around that spot" LOL).
Again, I don't know if I said it or not. I do know I was thinking it. Yup, I'm carrying a hefty note on mine. But that doesn't mean I want to avoid wheeling it... Pinstripes, shit I had plenty before I went to Shiloh (Spring Creek, BVORR, and Longs took care of that long before Shiloh). Breakage- Something I accept as part of playing. But, when I'm a 170 miles from home and have no other vehicle to get me and my family home, you can damn sure bet I'm going to do everything in my power to avoid breaking anything.

Yup, I read it. My point was you don`t care what breaks cuz your dad will bail you out. Tow you home if need be. You broke it to the point it was undrivable at longs and he came to the rescue. So you just keep fucking it up. When you actually have to pay for it, you might think twice about the line you`re picking. Most of us still have a huge chunk to pay on the note, and jeep is playing hardball when it comes to warranty issues even if it`s bogus. And one never knows what kind of trail damage may occur. You didn`t break anything this trip cuz you got lucky. You still went balls to the wall cuz you have that safety net. Lots of us don`t, so we`re a little more carefull when we wheel. And I don`t need to hear from some about how we shouldn`t be on the trails then. I been wheelin since I was 10 with my pops. I`ve had 3 Jeeps, and various other off road rigs/bikes. I just have to take it a little easier right now, thats all.

| Dude I care what breaks, I dont want to get towed home, I dont want my dad to bail me out, and i don't care if dent body panels, break glass or anything else that I can fix myself because I can fix it. Breaking axles, driveshafts, wheels, tranny, or thing else that I can fix on my own is something I don't wanna break. Long's was the first time I was on rocks and I fucked up, my dad was nice enough to bail me out that time, but next time he won't and i already know this. | |

| I know I said a few negative words about you that day about you leading us through some tight stuff. I'm not certain but pretty sure that your anger is directed towards me. Which if it is, is really stupid because I'm still new to all this and what may be simple to you is the opposite for me so of course I'm going to freak out and speak without thinking. Everyone that knows me knows and expects for me to freak out pretty easily about things. Just ask George how many times I said "What the hell are you taking us through". He never once got mad at me because he knows that I'm still getting used to all of this. Have a jeep but haven't taking it off-road yet and when I do I'll be taking baby steps and working up to the harder stuff. So if it is me you are talking about I'm sorry I hurt your feelings. Words just come out without thinking at that point. Everyone was a rookie at one point and seasoned wheelers shouldn't get so defensive with those who are just learning or slam those who don't wish to majorly f*Ck up their daily driver. Money don't grow on trees! However, when I do get really into off-roading I will not follow you and will take the other way every time and we will both be happy. | |
