The whole thing is confounding and delightful. I love it. I also love challenges like if you can't go down a beach you don't have a real Jeep, a challenge made to people who make trips half way across the country to find bigger and more challenging rocks to crawl than are available in Texas. But if your idea of fun isn't their idea of fun, well not only are you made entirely of substandard lady parts, but they might just kick your ass while they're at it, insisting the whole time that they're incomparably smarter than you. The whole thing is like the scattered leavings of a dream rent from the pages of Kafka, disorienting, surreal, and slightly menacing.

I kinda went the other way on this....... I made a few calls to see if I could come up with a Yugo.... not an easy task. From what I have found out, they have been recycled into LoneStar Light cans. So between D.J, Tim, and Myself, we have surely had several Yugos passed through our hands...

I will not be able to attend. The La Vernia cookoff is that weekend.... I will be flying the JN flag and will be there in spirit!

My fellow pirate, Donald will be down there with you guys. He is looking forward to the belt sander races...
