Canyons - Oct 26-28th

Anyone heading out to Canyons this coming weekend?

Open Run - Gates open Friday afternoon. Pre-Run on Friday, Race on Saturday

Open wheeling Saturday after the race and on Sunday"

I will be out there to watch and to do some crawling/testing.

Anyone else? I will probably roll out Sat morning and watch the races with Dern and crawl after they're over. I'll stay overnight and crawl on Sunday too.

I will be there with another Jeep, (blue and red TJs) and a new guy is supposed to catch us there. Hopefully the lady Jeepers make it out Lory! We will get there late tonight and camp. Leave saturday evening

This is my look of relief. I had a pop back through the carb that set the air cleaner ablaze. Dern had his fire extinguisher handy and between that Aquafina and 3 cokes, it was out. LOL


Aside from that, the King of the Canyons race was really cool to see. The course was 4.5miles long.

This obstacle is Yota Killer. It's Yota killer for a reason.

This guy seeing that the easy route was blocked by a dead yota decided to go straight up Yota killer. I went up this obstacle and let me tell you, it's no joke.

That looks like my kind of fun. I can't wait to go rock crawling again.

Lol, what took us 4+ hours to do a couple Saturdays prior, these guys probably did in 45 minutes or less lol. Bet this was cool to watch.
