4th of July

Anyone want to come over to our house and do fireworks on the 4th? Yes, fireworks are legal in Sugar Land Also- The Houstonian owns a private golf course right beside our neighborhood and they do a large fireworks display for their members, and us lowly peasants that live outside their perimeter get a free show LOL

That sounds like fun! We live kinda close the horse thrack and but can't really see any of the fireworks cause of the trees and the distance but we hear the loud booms. Do you have anything we can blow up? Like pumpkins, yard decorations etc.... Kidding we only do that at home.

Thanks but we always have a neighborhood block party. The guy across the street from me makes his own beer, so you know I'll be there...

Well so much for finding a watermelon anywhere in the Houston area

Damn like I need a reason to come to Houston, my parents are going to be out of town that weekend which means I could throw a party BUUUUUUUUUUT they told the cops to make sure I dont so maybe I'll be in Houston for a while

atleast yall get to party out at N2rock's. i have to work that night and its going to suck, but atleast i get a front row view of the fireworks at the horsetrck

So... Last night Shannon asks "Where to you plan on everyone parking?".

Yup, I didn't even consider the fact of soft tops! <DOH>

Due to the amount of hot debris that comes down around our street, we had already planned on parking Shannon's Jeep in the garage. But anyone else with a soft top, our street may not be a good place to be parked. So keep that in mind.

Time- anytime before dark. Our neighborhood becomes a dangerous place to drive once everyone starts lighting up their fireworks LOL And if you need to purchase any beforehand, come early enough to go purchase at some of the area fireworks stands. And the stands tend to get a little crowded on the evening of the 4th.

what about the other stuff? did you want any of us to bring food or drinks.... seeing as you are inviting all of us the least we can do is bring things....Chips, Hot Dogs, soda, beer, trash bags, brooms for clean up.... you let us know.

ANy of those would be great!

Brooms are always helpful- especially seeing how our pushbroom disappeared after last year's 4th of July LOL.

Beer- definitely BYOB. We'll fill up our ice chests with ice to keep anything you bring cold.

Food- just whatever you want to snack on thru the evening. I don't own a grill . So if you want to cook anything it will have to be cooked stove or oven.

Defniitely bring lawn chairs. We have a few, but always best to have extras

i usually dont get outta there til like midnight or so cuz theres always those tables that just sit there while u close down and they just watch u and wont pay so u can turn in paper work or anything, i hate those kind of tables

hey guys who wants to go to the crab shack and hang out all nite, annoy the waitresses and leave a very small tip after keeping the staff there for 2 hrs aftrer closing
