| Well, I'm up at the office near the Galleria. Office never lost power. Its really strange up here, looking out over Houston, with no lights. I see a few lights down Westheimer and Richmond, a few on San Felipe, but not many. Spooky. Did hear from Larry the other day...days starting to run together....but he and Yvonne were ok. Thanks for everyone's concern. Crosby got hammered pretty good, but our house came thru. Might need some new shingles. Me shed in the backyard is toast. Blew the top clean off, looks like a can opener. Lost a nice willow tree and a few oaks, but not any of the huge pines. Sleeping up here at work tonight and tomorrow night, as still no power or water in Crosby. FEMA did show up this morning in Crosby with Ice, water and MRE's. I did confirm the other day with NOAA aerial images, Mom & Dads house on Bolivar is gone. Nothing but the slab remains. I doubt they will return. They are getting too old for this, and when they relocate, they will be much closer to me. Take care everyone..... | |

| Thanks everyone for the kind words. It really means a lot to me and my parents. I'll try and post some before/after pictures of the beach house when I have power in Crosby to my pc. Really not much left except a slab and Mom's trees. Mom already told me she wants me to dig up her Australian pines so she can re-plant them at the new house in Crosby. I told her I'm not going anywhere near Bolivar until they catch the damn lion. Its bad enuff to lose your home, now you have to worry about being eaten as well..... And its hard to dig with one hand and hold the .338 WinMag with the other.... | |

| How many rounds you got? You could just shoot a very large divot around the trees, and then just wiggle 'em out Just make sure to save one round in case leo decides he wants a snack. | |

| Im gonna get in contact with Jennie and have her sick George after the damn lion. I aint seen a lion yet that could stand up to a Texas redneck. In a matter of hours, George would have a bushy tail for his antenna, and be the only person in the Jeepin world with real lion skin seat covers........ | |
