| Looks cool, I'm contemplating running some on the rims coming in this week. Real curious to hear how they handle on the road, how hard it'd be to balance them, etc, pretty sure I can't pass inspection with them, but I'm hearing different conflicting stories. AEV Pintlers, MOPAR Rock Monsters, etc, are all DOT and what you bring an inspection station to prove that paperwork wise Vs. something like yours would be the real fact finder. |

Absolutely true.... In Short most Bead locks are not DOT Approved (generally speaking). But not being DOT approved does not make them illegal. It's basically an insurance issue for the companies that make the Beadlocks. Also, how is the inspection people going to look at the DOT stamp, most of the ones I've seen are inside the rim, and would have to remove the tire from the rim to see the stamp | |
