2008 rubicon-wire the radio to stay on w/key off?

I hate that you have to have the ignition key in the vehicle to keep the radio playing. Can I tap into the power wire going to the radio going thru a toggle switch and every thing (inc. sub woofer) work ok? Do I need to "diode" the main for any reason to stop power from going into the factory system? Thanks...
