| Just to let you guys know yesterday George was working over at his Parents place, as he was fixing to head home he noticed smoke coming out of the siding, he went around the back of the house to open the back door to see what it was, when he got around back he saw that the living room was on fire, he kicked in the back sliding glass door and went in to try to save their dogs, cat and 4 birds, he got in the house but the smoke was so thick he could not see anything, he was able to rescue 3 dogs then went back into the house, this time he made it about 3 feet in the door when the Den exploded, he ran back out side and called 911.
They lost the family dog Rex, the cat Cally, and the 4 birds.
George's parent also have another 200 birds that live in the bird flight they were all ok the fire did not reach the flight.
The fire was cause by a bad surge protector
George's parents live in a double wide they were planning on building a house on their property next year.
You really want to laugh, George finished re roofing the house 2 hours before the fire started.

| yes they have insurance, but some of the stuff they lost just can not be replaced, the kids baby pics, things that have been passed through the family for years. It's just a mess, I just can't tell you how it feels, the thought that George could have been hurt or worse the thought that the house could have caught fire at night when his parents were asleep. Just so much goes through your head.
well we are fixing to go over there and start the clean up.

| ! I'm so sorry - that's a horrible thing to have happen. You're right, no amount of money can replace the things we collect in our lives that mean so much to us. I'm very glad that George is OK, and his parents are too.
I'm very sad for the pet, and the loss. My thoughts are with y'all, and if you need anything don't hesitate to ask!

| Thanks guys, Today we went through as much of the house as we could, we were able to find a bunch of stuff that was some what OK, like dishes, nick nacks, etc....
I do have some good news though while digging in the back bedroom I found Georges baby book, baby photo album and his parents wedding album, un touched....like nothing ever happened around them. It's so funny what we found today, in a room full of ashes, nothing standing not a single thing to recognize we found an 8X10 Photo of Ally untouched. Just unreal.
I am not sure what we need at this point in time, we live so far from everyone its hard for us to ask for anything.
I do have a funny story to tell you guys and I have a video that goes with it, I will post it all later.

| Thought I would give you guys an update on how things are going with George's Partents. Things are well on there way. the house is what you would call dried in! The Yellow siding is going to be painted some color of Green, we were there last night trying to help them pick which shade. The areas in blue will be white river rock. The Eagle Weathervane on top of the house is handmade of copper sheet and was given to Fred and Kassie by George's Maternal Grandparents and once Adorned the Chance Family carriage house in Bryan Texas on their 1897 house. (his Great Great Grand Parents). | |
