I guess All things really do happen for a reason. You know when they bought the double wide they had only planned on being in it for a year or 2 and then building this house, but between money and financing things never happened. The fire was such a horriable thing and many memories were lost but in the end they were able to get the home they always dreamed of

What an awesome happy ending to a terrible story.... I remember the horrible feeling that I got when I heard about the fire, I remember looking around and thinking about how bad it would be if we lost everything.... and add 40 or so years of memories and it would be absolutely terrible.

This just made my day!!!

Eagle? It looks like the biggest duck I have ever seen. Awesome!

Is that an attic room or part of the living area where that upstairs window is? The house is too big to fit in the picture.

Thats in the living room, there is a plant shelf up there. The ceiling in the living room is about 30 foot tall.

It is a massave house!

I am not sure what we need at this point in time, we live so far from everyone its hard for us to ask for anything.

I just now found this thread, am really sorry for your parents loss George & Jenn. League City isn't that far and if there is anything I can do to help please don't hesitate, anything at all. I have no leave or sick days left this year to take off during regular working days but I do have 1 floating holiday and will gladly use that if you need the help, I can take off tomorrow or Friday using it so please let me know. Otherwise Saturday and Sunday I could help do anything.

Thanks Sas! Actually everything has already pretty much been done, now everything is left in the Hands of the Home builders.

The finish date is set for Jan.15th but they are pushing to finish it before the New Year maybe even before Christmas. If they get it done by Christmas we will end up spending our Holidays Moving furniture.
