Beach Trip

I'll probly be going alone. I usually camp, but you never know.

Ya it will be in the Taj Majal for sure..... just gotta decide. June was a busy month, July is going to be worse and August is shaping up to be a Byotch too... Might be good reason to pack up and go actually!

Just do it. Could be the last big trip until next summer.

In that case I think I should be OK. I think my tent is pretty good. Unless something changes my plans I should be there.

Is there a burn ban or can we have a beach fire? I have some wood I brought back from my ranch trip that I can bring down. Its only a small amount of mesquite but better than nothing.

Unless you have the cheapest tent known to man, it shouldn't be a problem. =)

My "little backpacking tent" (an inexpensive one-man mountainsmith tent) has survived near-tropical-storm conditions. My slightly better two-man tent has survived wind and hail storms w/o issue.

well, unfortunately i wont be able to make it. july is getting to be pretty busy. family stuff and i might be in Las Vegas... carmen is there for a teaching conference and i might tag along.

If I go I am camping. But I have a question about camping on the beach. I only have a little backpacking type tent that is small but easy to hike around. It fits me and my son just fine. My brother said it would get flattened from the wind out on the beach. Any truth to this?

We are at Fisherman's as well, Renee & Bobby, Marshall & Naomi, Cody and ??? not sure if the new girlfriend is going.

Fishermans Hotel. I can't wait. Are you sure it is still a month away?
