June 9th is Back To the Future's 25th anv. They are showing it at the Drive in!

Price ....5 bucks per car load! Fit as many people as you can in your Jeep for only 5 bucks!

Hell if you bring a Van with 25 people in it, its still only 5 bucks!

hmmm we've been talking about going back out there. wed the 9th? i didn't see it mentioned on their site. we may have to swing by there. thanks for the heads up

ummm... June 9th is a Wednesday. Ain't no way I'm going out there on a weeknight. Last time we went we didn't get home til 2am.

Right? I heard somewhere in Houston there was one that opened few years back and always forget to followup.

I think the one in the Houston area closed. I'll check with the wife but I definitely want to go.

sounds like fun, sucks i am going to be outa town for work.

Looks like they've only been around four years. I can't wait though I'm not sure if we're going to stick around for the double feature, depending on what they're playing.

I know Wed, night is hard for some of you I totally understand, G and I just really want to see Back To The Future on a Drive in screen. hehehe


But We will go again this summer and make it a Sat. night. We also want to see the new Adam Sandler movie that coming out at the end of June we will Deff. make that a friday or saturday night so everyone can come.

The drive in is just west of Tomball, you can also get to it from 290 it's 2 exits before our place!

If you go to there web site and click on the movies tab (where the Juke box buttons are) you will see an Ad for the Showing!

I Love that Movie! My late brother actually took me to go see it when it came out in theaters 25 years ago! So I just can't pass this one up!

suck it up princess. The movie would likely start around 8pm without previews so you'd be home by 10:30pm, 11pm at the latest. then you could just grab a second cup of coffee Thursday morning and just lay low at work.

But yeah... I can't function without 8 hours (minimum) of sleep. I guess that's payback for all the all nighters I pulled over the years

We're taking the girls to see Shrek & Iron Man II next weekend, Sat night probably, they're excited. I've told them stories in the past when we had the funky cast aluminum speaker we perched on the drivers side window, my Dad would light the PIC Mosquito Repellant coil on the metal dash of the 55' Chevy. We've seen everything from That Darn Cat, the young and upcoming Kurt Russell to Dirty Hairy & Vanishing Point... ahh the good old days.

Wife and I will join. She has never been to a drive inn.

I used to go to the Mission drive-in on the south side of San Antonio. Is that place still open? I would love to join in on this but will have to pass, too far and too late.

Count me in. Too close to home to miss out, and I love this movie!!

Looks like mother nature wants to catch the movie too. It's 60% chance of rain until 8pm when it drops to only 50% and then to 30% at9pm and on.

Are we all still planning on catching this? What's the game plan, were we going to meet up at George and Jennie's place before to head up there together?
