SA Install (June 25th)

Does anyone have anything they need installed, our house is open?

I think Stacy has some stuff.

I'm sure Stacey can install her half doors by herself.

Been a while since a install happened

I have a BL I havent put on yet

I've been considering a set of rock sliders. I might could maybe get them and install them at this party. Gotta do some pinch seam repairs too.

When in June are we considering doing this?

I have side armor plates, coils/brackets and tow wiring harness. Nothing major.

I need to have the armor guards coated somehow - ANY SUGGESTIONS? Rattlecan bedliner?

I need to get with Tim about the brackets, he had mentioned he had one and could fab the other three in no time. Tim, you there?

As for the wiring harness, if we have a wiring smartie with us install day, that would be great, otherwise, I could just take it to U-haul and have them do it.

Stacy, check under your driver's tail light and see if the wiring harness is already installed. My Jeep did not come with the towing package, but there is an electrical plug, which I believe is for the hitch.

I'd get the rocker guards powedercoated if I was you, especially as you like to keep your Jeep looking pretty, why go cheap now?

Just let me know when the install is. Would like to be a part of it.

Stacy, what wiring harness you getting? IIRC Mopar makes one that plugs into the driver's side tail light harness. Simple as unbolting your tail light, disconnecting the plug for the housing, plugging the trailer wire harness between the tail light housing and the wiring harness and routing it down to the tow hitch.

If I can make any of those dates, the 25th would be the most likely. Therefore, I say the 25th .

25th works for me. I'll try to get my parts powdercoated before then, no promises. As for the tow wiring, you gentelmen, are smarties! It is as simple as ya'll stated, I ordered it three years ago and just never opened the box to even check it out, damn procrastinator. Johnny offered to do it tonight at John's get together, so we may knock it out then.

And, I guess I should go pick up my doors from Joe, he probably would like them out of the way, I just need to have them painted, that should only take me a couple years, kidding.........I hope.
