House got burglarized this morning!!

I was at work this morning and I got a phone call that my house had been broken into!! I work 45 mins away so I hauled booty home and there were 3 cop cars in front of my house. Turns out that my neighbor spotted this guy jumping my fence to get in back yard and he saw guy try to open a few windows, so good neighbor steps out to get better look and he notices a bicycyle laying out by the street and my front door was wide open, he knew wife and I were both at work so he knew what was going down. He calls cops and by the time he gets back outside the bicycle is gone and no sign of the perp. The cops get here and he gives them description of guy and bicycle and they go looking for him, they find him about 8 blocks away pedalling his ass off carrying our 19" LCD TV, my sons backpack with my sons Wii and all games and controlers in it, and our camera bag with camera around his neck..on a freakin' bicycle...IDIOT!! They arrest him, take pics of all the stuff and bring it back to my house and take punk ass to jail!! The suckiest part of it is that my wife taught this kid when he was in 4th grade and his family was poor so my wife bought him school supplies and a backpack and I think even some clothes....little bastard repays us now by robbing us!!!UGGHHH I'd like to think that if he knew it was her house he wouldn't of broken in here but in reality it probably wouldn't have made any difference to him. Cops said he has been in a lot of trouble and he probably will do a little jail time for this one..lets hope so!! OK RANT OVER..now I feel a little better!!

Which brings up a good point its summertime yall kids are out and most unsupervised be that good neighbor and keep an eye out lock all doors and windows when your not home and set the alarm if you have one

Sorry to hear that. Glad they caught the little shit. Sadly it will probably not be his last crime and someone else will end up with whatever he will do next.

Ya know... Karma just fuk'd him! Your wife did nice things for him, he repays by "attempting" to rob. Karma steps in and says "oh fuk dat!" and promptly arranges for the kid to get busted red handed.

The next time i see a bum or a panhandler who claims to be out of work, i want to give him 10 bucks, and tell him, "Now listen, make sure you dont buy any food with this money, im giving you this to buy dope or booze."

man hopefully that guy sits in jail for a long time, its a shame that today we have to lock up all of our windows and doors just to prevent this kind of thing from happening. Bless your neighbor though

Well, I'm just getting settled down after having to install a new front door, when he kicked it in it messed it up pretty bad....My story made the Corpus Christi channel 3 5 o'clock news!! Turns out the little punk admitted to several other burglaries and the news team was in our Police Dept doing a different story and the cops told them about my ordeal so they showed up at my house to interview me....I tried to get my neighbor that witnessed it to speak on camera but he wouldnt do it!! I'm wore out after today, ready to hit the sack!!

Moved my mother in law this weekend from the southside of SA...last load this afternoon...30mins later she got a call from an old neighbor who ran the kids off trying to break the windows to get in...he asked what they were doing and the kid said it was ok because nobody lives there anymore...30mins

Glad it ended well Todd. Good thing for him he didn't decide to pull that stunt when you were home. I think the thing to remember is this: The child he was in fourth grade is probably gone. Washed away by careless parents and a shitty upbringing. Sheri can do everything she can to brighten a childs future, but at the end of the day, its the parental figures in their life that mold them into who they become. It's sad that we've lost not just our moral compass, but our parental compass. We as a society dont know how to raise our children to be productive members of said society. I praise Sheri, and all teachers who go above and beyond to make a difference in the lives of our children. You self sacrificing group of Americans are under paid, under appreciated and unsung. Jail time? NOT!

Had a punk down the street from me... The Sheriff saw me outside smoking one day and stopped to chat with me. Told me that there had been a rash of daytime break ins in our neighborhood, and their main suspect was that punk down the street. They suspected that he was doing the break ins, running home with the stolen items, and then friends with cars would come pick up the stuff. So the Sheriff asked me to keep an eye on the house and get descriptions of the cars that came & went.

Few weeks later I found out that they had busted the punk in the process of leaving a home. Got him red-handed. A few days later the punk was back on our street. He was out waiting for his court case (3 months away). I'm sure he continued breaking in homes, probably just moved to a different neighborhood to avoid suspicion. When he finally did go to court, he got off with probation. The courts/jails don't have time & space to deal with petty B&E punks.

It's a horrible crime to the victims. But to the criminal justice system, it is a minor nuisance that warrants nothing more than probation.

Sue the parents. Sad to say, but it's the only way to get any semblance of justice now days. try small claims court for the damaged caused during the break in.

And I found out last week that it is the exact shotty that Chuck Norris carries in the intro to Walker Texas Ranger at the end when he is standing epicly, the stainless one.
