SA HammerFest Event Sept 18th

Hi Guys,

Just wanted to let you know if we get enough help we would like to support the La Vernia HammerFest on September 18th again this year by hosting a rest stop. This event helps the La Vernia Historical Society and their quest to build a Veterans Memorial in La Vernia.

We had a great turn out last year and I think evryone had fun, if this is a go maybe we could have drinks afterwards at Texas Pride or somewhere else. Post up if you can volunteer, we will need help with the supplies, thought we could get donations for the water, gatorade, bananas, and cookies. More info to come

Absolutely, we need all the help we can get, they are expecting 1000 riders.

I will send out times and directions soon. If anyone wants to caravan out there we are leaving Dave and Busters about 5:30am next Saturday. I know its early, but its for a good cause

what time to meet in Lavernia and where?

Just wanted to send out a update for those that are helping with Hammerfest on September 18th. If you are bringing ice chests can you clean them out with Clorox, we will be using them to serve Gatorade and water in.

Here are the directions to the rest stop:
Take IH 10 East
Exit Trailer Hale and Turn Right, go 7.5 miles, we are on the right

Time:
We need to be there no later than 7:30am, Robin, Jacque and myself will be there by 7:00am

Last year we had about 15 volunteers and 872 riders

Update on time if you want to meet us at Dave & Busters, we will leave there at 6:30 sharp to head to La Vernia!
