Thanks to everyone that helped us out on our first run. The Michael and Michael team will be working on building up our jeep as funds are available. Please let me know when the next get together is. (install party?)

I at least got to wheel a little on Sunday with the Houston crew before I had to leave. Thought it was funny when George said "you didn't wheel with us?" on Saturday night. Had a great experience for my first off road park. My son loved crawling on the rocks too, although the jeep was optional for him.

Sorry guys can't go. One of the cranes has a issue... I have to leave the yard at 5:00 am to wrench on it. Thats my gig, so oh well. Have a safe trip & take lots-o-pics so I can enjoy part of it! Thanks, Randy

just a quick update.

Looks like 3rd store was the charm. Found my CB antenna base/mount

when i talked to the guy at radio shack, he said only certain stores carry the CB / ham radio stuff. He had one handheld CB on his shelf. I went to the one on I-10 & DeZavala. they had what i needed & more. They guy that works there has a TJ. so i gave him a MJF card.
