Katemcy K2 - September 25-26

The last event of the year for Katemcy Rocks K2 will be on September 25-26, 2010.

hey Phil, good to see you back on the boards. Hope all is well.

Wheeling is done for me until November (work) so it looks like the New Years Gilmer run is on the radar.

Hopefully I will be able to get out to K2 in the spring.

Whoever can make this - take pics and have fun!

I am going to try and make this one. I can't do the Labor Day weekend run because of work. Will it be open on Friday the 24th? The weekend rate shows camping Friday and Saturday nights.

They usually open around 3:00pm on Friday, but that is strictly for arriving, setting up camp, etc, and they usually don't let people out on the trails until Saturday.

We will be open Labor Day weekend. Saturday Sunday and Monday till 3 P.M. . Regular fees apply. $75 for driver for 3 days wheeling, camping included. Passenger,$5 per day and a flat $10 if camping. Gates open @ 3PM on Friday afternoon. Showers for everyone and swimming hole full of water. Also will lead a group to the Llano River each day. Zukecrawlers are the title sponsor for the weekend but everyone welcome.

They tend to charge more for 3-day weekends, Sept 25-26 should be the usual $50 weekend rate:

I may be able to make this one, but I can't commit just yet.

I'd REALLY like to see how it performs now with the Rubi transfer case in place along with the hand throttle...

I should be able to make this trip. Just for the one day, not staying the night.

Nope, just a day trip for me.

The weather forecast's improved a bit, partly cloudy Saturday, isolated t-storms Sunday.

I really would've like to make this, and I may still try, but I strongly doubt it. I still can't work out why my front E-Locker isn't engaging.
