| Subject: 35's on a Dana35, also SYE install? Fri 29 Oct 2010, 11:50 pm | |
| Got the idea of going from 33's to 35's come income tax time. I do not wheel often and when so its an occasional trail. Have wheeled with the 33's and haven't snapped yet (knock on wood) for 2yrs now. I would rather not go through all the cost and change for being a DD but am aware this is a very touchy subject and may have to submit to change. Or when the shit breaks. Ive read up on alot of posts and it seems like luck, and driver play the deciding roll on a surviving 35. Just wanting some good inpute or personal experience. Also just curious how easy/difficult a SYE install would be. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated | |

| Do it! If you can also, get rid of that D35 or upgrade it. I just broke an axle last weekend. It wasn't fun. What made it even worse was when the axle came out and lost all brakes, oh did i mention it was at the top of Throttle up hill and started rolling back! Scared the poo out of me!!! | |

| Just make sure you upgrade your axle shaft to some chromoly ones, then you should be fine with 35s on a D35 but it is my understanding that anything bigger than 35s you will be pushing it. | |
