| Had a bit of an incident and my front axle needs to be replaced so I thought I'd go ahead and upgrade to the Dana 44. If anyone has any leads, let me know. Thanks, Ryan | |

| You can't just leave us hanging with jus an "Incident" to your front axle. Tell the whole story, and the truth!!!
And sorry, don't know of any available D44. | |

| Well, someone stopped and I didn't (well, not soon enough anyway). Good thing is that my Poison Spyder Bumper looked untouched (almost). Jeeps (especially with a lift) and minivan bumpers don't really mesh well...it messed up the control arm pickup points on the axle so they are replacing it. I figure I'll spend the extra money and get a low mileage D44 with locker. I found one with $2500 miles for $2k. That's the front runner. It was off of a jeep that was hit in the rear. I'll be upgrading front drive shaft as well (also damaged), probably to the Tom Woods. The Rock Krawler control arms are some heavy duty parts...I don't think it affected them at all. They have such great customer service also, they said they will replace them under warranty if it turns out there are any problems with them because I am the original owner. | |

| Might as well just get a Pro Rock 44 if you're going to upgrade. The housing is about 1900.00 and you can reuse your knuckles, unit bearing, and brakes from the D30. Throw on some chromo shafts and an ARB locker and you have a bad ass axle...you'll just be spending about 1200.00 more | |

| Sorry you mussed up your Jeep Ryan. Looks like you planned it so Momma wouldn't give you grief about upgrading. | |
