No sorry been swamped at work think it is too late for this year but i WILL try and check!

June 11-12 is a no go for me

Carmen's birthday is the 11th and I don't think taking her to a Jeep meet (however much fun we have) is her idea of a day just for her

Flambeau Parade is a no go for this year. Application is available on Oct. 1 and must be submitted by Dec. 29th. We will be getting involved next year!

Ahhhhhhhh ! Oh well. Just gives me that much longer to put together a bigger, badder parade rig!

I know Twylla and I would like to get some folks up to Barnwell or Superlift at least once this year. Maybe on a long weekend. I know the last TSJM was supposed to be up there, and a lot of folks were looking forward to going because most members down here haven't been there yet.

Will we be doing a trip to the park in Medina or the hidden falls in marble falls? I would like to go to some closer/nearby places to wheel with the group.

Go Topless Day is Saturday, May 14, 2011. Are we planning to do something specific on this most hallowed of Jeep days? Perhaps a wheeling trip to Cline's (hint-hint)?

I know usually topless day has mostly Jeeps that do not offroad, and I know, it is just obvious abuse. Along the same level as beating your wife.

I'd say we take a cruise through the hill country and maybe head to driftwood and eat at Saltlick BBQ.
They have lot's of parking, usually live music and it is BYOB.
I think all you can eat at about $20.

However I haven't been to Clines in a few years, but we could do that another weekend.



Also, on another note. It would be nice to make a club trip to Barnwell Mountain for possibly Labor Day weekend. The place has more trails then Hidden Falls, and is more organized.

I second that! I think a cruise is much better than wheeling on topless day! A hill country trip anywhere is fine with me. Just my 2 cents!

We need us an April event though - and I need more wheeling experience - LOL - so Cline's or Hidden Falls would be awesome - just got back from Hot Springs, AK Superlift ORV Park - and it was AWESOME!! I ended up unintentionally conquering a level 5 in my stock Rubi - and survived the weekend with no damage - YAY!!

What are we doing for Topless Day - sounds fun doing a Hill Country Drive

I'm good for whatever as long as it is earlier in the day. I have a commitment at 4:00 pm that will affect the amount of time I/we can spend with the gang. The further away we go, the earlier I will have to depart. I'm really good with anything.
