I'm planning on rolling out from the Seaworld area around 6 am
on Saturday

Maybe we should meet up at the gas station on I10 and Highway 46 in Boerne, where we usually meet up?

My steering is fooked bad, I may or may not have my rig depending on how quickly and can get some parts.

Well my cousin decided to get married this eekend so Im obligated to be in conneticut this weekend, have fun and don't forget to post pics!

The drivers side knuckle was reamed incorrectly and the joint has been slowly going bad, replacing the joint would be easy, but it won't solve the underlying problem. Now I we could drill the knuckles out and put heims on it, but my tie rod has a thread size you don't find in a heim joint (7/8 18 tpi vs a heims 7/8 14 tpi). I'm sure they'll find a good solution, but afraid I might need to get a whole new tie rod that will work with heims which won't get here in time.

I am going to text you a # of a guy that might be able to help you..

Worth a shout anyway... he has a stack of Heims in his garage and a knack for fixin shit.

We will be leaving sat morning as well from SA and would like to meet up. The Jeep isnt quite ready but who cares, its good enough.lol No CB, exhaust has a redneck bailing wire temp hanger, rear diff is starting to look wet, no rear tow hook, and need a new strap.

Jody, if you need a bushing for your tie rod let me know, I could make one for you, limp to NB we could drill out your knuckle and install the bushing on your way to K2.

I am meeting a friend of mine at the Exxon in Boerne off I10 and Hwy 46 at 6AM. (That is leaving at 6AM).

Let me know if you plan to convoy up to K2.

I should be leaving Friday afternoon sometime. PM or post up if there are others from Houston going that I join the convoy.

I am probably going to come back on Sunday afternoon.

Also... I have never been there or to the old site. Do they have an airstation on the property?

They do not have an airstation at the K2
but in Mason at the Shell station has free air

Thanks Dern, it's sitting at GCCS getting worked over. I imagine that will probably be the route they take.

We will be at the exxon at 46 around 5:30. I believe there is a Taco Cabana there to grab some bfast.

We'll try and be there at the same time.

Me and Phil will be leaving Houston after work on Friday and will be at the beltway and I-10 (West) at 5:30. We would like to travel up there with someone..... 4 hours is enough time for problems!

To Do list got a little bit longer today. Now that the susp has settled, the tires rub the fenders when flexing. Heading outside right now to rip them off.lol Ill worry about putting them back on or ordering some flats after this weekend.

I know it's a little late to ask but what's everyone doing for food? Are there grills out there? Is the concession stand affordable enough to eat from the whole weekend? Also, how's the mosquitoes out there? I'm guessing they're not an issue but my wife wants to know.

Concession stand has good food, and is affordable.
I'm bringing sandwiches for on the trail, as we usually eat on the go.
Skito's are about the size of elephants, but nothing bug off, and tequila won't be able to handle.
The kids do best with the latter medicine. Lol.
