| Lory and Alex brought this idea up at the meet and greet to me, and now I have decided to run with it and see where it goes. I am thinking of any dates between now and Christmas, maybe even January to help get anyone comfortable with going on Off Road runs. I think it would be good to designate a trip just for beginners so that we commit to take time out to help and learn from one another. The goal is to get people comfortable with coming out to these events, being involved, and having fun. I think Hidden Falls will be a great place to have this, besides it is the only park that is open in the winter. This would be a great time to bring out your shotgunner, girlfriend, or wife, or buddy, or whoever wants to get behind the wheel.
Anyone have date suggestions? Maybe we can get a voting pole up. I want to go wheeling again really soon, and I know Don with the new JKU is itching to wheel.
I personally have wheeled stock Jeeps at Hidden Falls, and helped other stock Jeeps out there as well. The only thing you really need is 4 wheel drive low range.
Also I love to film, so we can show you the footage to provide an out of vehicle perspective. Let me know what you guys think! I will try to get some good resources involved in this.

| Keep in mind that some (most?) of the places around here are closed through that time for hunting season... | |

| Due to the Christmas party season, I will make sure there are no conflicts before I comit... My rig will probably not be up, so I will bring the service truck and an appropriate cooking device.... if I can go. If not, someone with a reciever hitch is welcome to borrow the infamous "Truck Wheel". It is capable of producing copious amounts of heat and grade A grub..... | |

| Bummer! We are out for the week of the 8th and 9th. I'm not even gonna mention all the things we have lined up for that weekend already. I'd love to do something like this to introduce my wife to wheeling. I'd also like to have my 12 year-old take the "bunny trails" a bit to learn how to drive off-road. I guess it will have to happen another time.
I think doing this 2-3 times a year would be good so that we keep taking new members out to learn their Jeep's capability.

| That sounds like a great idea, it would keep us with fresh new and involved members who actually use their Jeeps! | |

I recently put in a new front axle after damaging my old one, found an entire new one for cheaper than I could find a used housing, so I got one with 4.10 gearing. I gotta save up enough to regear my rear end (Still 3.55) before I can hook the drive line back up, till then my front drive shaft sits in the back seat.
